Is it easy to remove this bit?

After removing Gary's 'after market' cupholder ( ) from the centre console, we now have lots of gunk (thats a technical term ) left behind - does anyone know if you can remove this pocket and if so, is there an easy way to do it?

very easy to remove

open the armrest and pull out the inner liner from it , the you can get your hand under the cup holder area and push up

Prise out the cup holder clip and then with a little gentle persuasion it will come out

Found it !

Then rembered why it is spare. I spilled some air freshener in it and it stained the plastic. If you still want it I guess you could just spray it with some black paint. Or I've got some black fake alcantara fabric, you could make a little doylie with.
