    Wanted - Auto Electrician Auckland

    Hi All,

I need to find an honest Auto sparky to look at my little ford Laser.

Does anyone know of some one around Penrose Auckland?

    Thanks.

    Richard.

There is PK Auto Electrical in Penrose, but they are about $75 + gst per hour... not cheap.

I know of PK, but like you say not cheap.

    David,

the car stopped working on the motor way the other morning, I saw a lead that looked like it came off the coil and reconnected it, it didn't come off the coil, I think I have blown some relays and something else is funky, I hard wired the starter to get it running but when you turn the key to start it runs the radiator fan, not good, I am thinking that I don't want to be stuck in traffic and have the fan not working so I need to get it fixed, it is only worth $500-$1,000 so I don't want to spend over $500 on it for this issue.

I am bringing the Legnum out on Saturday, I want to get the laser to the auto sparky's tomorrow. I am sure the relay is toast but it doesn't explain why when I wired in a new one instead of the starter motor going the electric radiator fan went.

I called my old man and he has an auto sparky working for him but i'd rather not have the hassle of taking it over to the shore during work hours.

Hi think it is time to let my fingers do the walking and find the second closest one, PK's is the closest, or just bite the bullet and take it there.

if anyone is interested I went to Simm's Electrical, came to $75 inc GST it was a broken wire in the loom that caused both the issues.

I am pleased with their service and price.
