Heavily polluted. Buses do not give change, you are required to have the correct amount at presentation.

Bus is very slow from airport - but cheaper.

Stanley Street market and Mount Victoria are just two of some of the places to see.

Signage is all in English / "Chinese" (Cantonese?)

Would recommend getting a map - the place is huge.

Hmmm, wor lass is trying to talk me into a week's holiday there in August.

Staying in Kowloon by the looks of it.

I've just been trying to find out who expensive it is to eat / drink there and where are the best places to visit.

So far I've been told to spend a day at Lamma Island, Lantau Island and Macau.
Try out the STA ferry for 10p a ride, which sounds interesting.

And Kowloon is the cheapest place to drink?

Definately getting a map Ryan, Joanne is notorious for getting me lost so I try to get my bearings as soon as possible. If we do book it I'm buying a book and take it on our Norfork Broads trip at the end of this month!

    Cheers
    K

Kowloon isn't far from the airport. As for cheap? I didn't see much that was cheap! You definitely want to go to Mt. Victoria as it has commanding views of the city, especially at night.
