    Moto GP discussion thread

WOW! Did any of you see that MotoGP race yesterday! I am a huge Yamaha fan, thank goodness Rossi is riding one! (by default I am a Rossi fan, too, of course)

Each race I watch, I think: "Wow, it doesnt get more exciting than that", and then the next race is even more exciting.

It would be a pity if Yammie lose Lorenzo though :-(

cracking, absolutely cracking race. yet again Valentino proves why he has stood on the top step 101 times.

I have followed bike racing since the early 90's and that era was littered with some of the greatest riders of all time, but Rossi seems to be of a different planet, it doesn't matter what the bike tries to do he just deals with it, his talent is unreal, and to cap it off he's human too, with a sense of humour.

i still believe that the grids would look a lot different if the electronics were banned, there is only half a dozen or so riders on that grid capable of riding a proper motogp bike with no 'assistance'

'Tune in next week for another episode of the vale & jorge show live from donny'
it'll be a relief after the F1 earlier in the day.

Yeah: Doohan, Roberts, Spencer, Rainey, etc... all great riders. But Rossi really seems to be up there with the greatEST, like Agostini, etc.

I don't know much about the sport but hasn't he won the title 7 times or something? That'd pretty much make him the Michael Schumacher of MotoGP career wise wouldn't it?

it amazes me that there are so many people that get annoyed when rossi brings it home , I mean we are watching history in the making, I dont care if he seems to win it all the time, it just proves hes still got it , although I think lorenzo is starting to shine as well.

Its not as if he's walking away with it, though, he likes to FIGHT for it, usually in the last laps, too, which makes it TONS more exciting !!

Even if he did walk away with it, I could watch that all day long, anyway. I Love Yamaha ( and really hate Honda too) Lol !!

Oh, wikipedia says he's won 8 championships! Roll on No 9 I say !

yeh should be a good one, the trouble is every one on the front 2 rows has always gone well round donny, so it should be a good one, and they are predicting wetness
