Have you not found the CVR4 articles section yet?

At the top of every page is the word "Articles". IFf you click it, you'll find info on just about everything you've just mentioned.

The timing belt will cost you quite a bit, so you'd better start saving. How many km's has the car done?

The air filter, brakes and spark plugs are easy though

Hi and welcome and as steve said the articles available are great I have done quite a lot of work on my car because reading through the excellent guides submitted by members gave me the confidence to tackle them myself.

    Again.....it's all in the articles!

However the PBR7EIK spark plugs (or whatever they are called) seem to be the best value for money, though you may be able to save a bit going for a range hotter. (PBR6EIK, I assume?)

As for belts etc, Genuine Mitsubishi one's aren't pricey. Dunno if you get "BluePrint" over there, but they're okay for most stuff.

You will need tensioners and pulleys for the cambelt.

Brakes...well...that's very much up to you.

So it has done 119km and the belt was changed at 108km, or it was changed at 108km and now it has done 108+119 = 227?

After 11000km your belt shouldnt need changing - personally i would take a very dour view on a garage that even uttered such stuff: unless they'd inspected it & found the pulleys/tensioners fubar'd & proved it so.

Plugs n that - enigma did a guide in the articles section as alreay stated. Piece'o'piss but lengthy. Dive in ....
