Galant V6 remove CAT

Hi

I have found a DE-CAT kit online that will fit my Galant V6 Sport

Going to remove the catalytic converter and fit the de-cat kit

Has anyone elso done this? Has it made a noticeable improvement in performance or improvement in MPG?

It should make a slight improvement to both of those, as the engine will have to do less work to push the exhaust gases out the back of the car.

the v6 loves a de-cat, it lets them rev really quickly, and they sound the tits as well

Camskills had one that fitted the galant

But in the end, I just cut the old one out and welded in a bit of pipe

Hard to tell if its made much of a difference

Car is 2001, so MOT shouldn't be a problem hopefully
