I`ve just tried fitting an R2D2 but I don`t get loads of phssssssssst or just a slight hint of phsst just beeping and whistles plus this wont fit in my engine bay!

Plus when I went to put the blanking plug in, well the language!!

Whoop whoop, I've been missing the noise from my old alloy unit. Refitted a stock one and the car drives much soother but doesn't hold boost as well.
Will be interested to see how the car performs with this fitted.
    Thanks Mike.

Arrived today safe and sound. Thanks Mike.

Quick question, did you just leave it flapping around or did you fix it in place? Oh and I assume it's safer to fix it so it's not pointing forwards?

I didnt fix it in place, the pipe holding it seemed strong enough not to warrant the extra hassle. Though there is a angle bracket off it thats for static fixing it if you need it.

Just spotted that extra bracket, I reckon I can fashion something if need be. Was just reading some other threads and realised that there's supposed to be a locking nut on that adjuster thread :/ Clearly it's not an issue but I'm going to dig one out to be safe.

Now fitted and it sounds lovely. Might weaken it slightly as I have to give it loads to make it sound. Idle is a little low for now but no stalling. My god does it make the car stink of fuel!

Forgot to mention, is it something about my car or is it normal that I get a healthy whoosh followed by a longer almost whistling sound from the bov?

Lee i had it set quite tight so it only went off on hard going. Normal driving was inconspicous. alankey turn anticlockwise i think for it to open up easier.
