Good price,in the ad the owner states gearbox ok when warm!does this mean gearbox has a problem when cold?

this crossed my mind...............not entierly sure he said it takes a little longer to change before it gets up to temp. would this be normal? or a problem that wil raise its head??

If by "gearbox" they are referring to auto, then yes - it can be a bit tweaky when cold (i.e. takes longer to shift) but once up to operating temperature, it should shift smoothly and on command.

OMG!!! I give more than that for mine with a leaking torque converter seal, mind you that was a couple of years ago.
