Sorry, minimum requirements for posting a thread in the For Sale / Wanted areas is to evolve from a New Registered User to a Registered User by either a) reaching 10 non-spam posts, b) being registered for three months, or c) becoming a paid-up member. However, what might be useful would be if anyone can confirm whether the VR-4 PS pump is the same?

I'm pretty sure the pumps are the same between v6 and VR4. They changed the pump and bracket design at the end of 1998.
As Nick said,I have had used V6 pump for VR4,so vice versa is true.Fl and Pfl are different.
Csaba= Chaba to pronounce
VR4
Anything else is just a compromise,maybe a E500 not
thanks, its not the quickest car (auto) ive owned by a long shot but for the price it was a steal IMO and its such a comfortable drive, just need to get this power steering sorted and get a service (tappets noisy)
