    Question Going the auction today!

Went a auction on Saturday and cut a long story short my car was bidded £1400 Luckly I had a reserve on it so I didnt let it go. I have tried to get the true value of the car but ever site I seem to use is not commin up with the legnum. It has 53,000 miles inported 2007 and only done 3400 miles since it was on UK soil. Its been serviced at 83,000 klms and again at 86,000 klms, There are no dints scratches or rust whats so ever, Its been sealed underneath too. Alloys in great condition and wheels are next to new. Having somebody bid such a low price on this car is frustrating as its not your usual banger. I know you guys specialise in these cars and know what they go for depending on age, milage and condition, Am looking on what I should be asking for it, Pics o the car are in a thread i made called selling up! It has 8 months MOT and taxed till Feb.

Thanks in advance if you can help.

If you want to sell quick, then £1400 is about where you should expect to be unfortunately.

Immaculate examples the same age as yours with very low mileage can go for close to £3000, but £2000 is more commonly seen now. It ios a shame that so much car is worth so little, but with so many available so cheaply, it's difficult to keep the value of them up.

Thats becasue there is no ball park figure , your car is worth what someone will pay for it - and in the case of the auction the car was worth £1400

The car will owe you an amount of money ( the price you paid ) and this will have been the value you rated the car at , but times are very hard for selling so if you want a quick sale you need to decide if you wnat to cut your loses or hold out till the person who views your car values it in the same ballpark that you paid .

end of the day only you can decide

Thanks Nick I have just put up on here (relisted) as a reduced price, It is a shame the car is faultless and has no dints scratches ect..... £1400 I was shocked.
