    Any Ideas???

I was driving home the other night, put my foot down going up a hill, my car stalled and the 'N' light started flashing. I managed to get off the road but my car wouldnt start again, when I try to start the car the AYC light stays on and the car turns over but wont fire.

Was worried it was the cam belt snapping but a subsequent check at the garage proves it wasn't this. I am having a diagnostic test on thurs, but has anybody any ideas on this one??

Those problems usually aren't related. Was it turning
over quickly and have you checked the battry voltage? They can do funny things if the voltage is low.

It could also be a wheel speed sensor or similar, so checking the fault codes is a good place to start
If I'm replying to your thread and helping you out, it is because I like you and want to help out your VR-4 ownership. No other reason

    Sorry for late reply.

It was turning over the same as before. The car is going on the diagnostics today so I should know a bit more soon.

If you dont get any luck with the diagnostics I have the software and datalogger to hook up. Where are you in Notts and who is looking at it for you?
    Still here somewhere........

Yeah I know but at the moment my car wont start. My breakdown cover has paid for all transportation costs so far and if the garage cannot fix my car my breakdown cover will pay for transportion back to the UK or to where Im living now. At the moment it looks like thats whats going to happen as Mitsubishi France say they cant diagnose the problem as my car was not manufactured in France??

Sorry but I can't help but laugh at that. Only the French would come out with that. Should have bought a Peugeot I guess.....
