Yours is one of 1109 and the only way to get black leather stock on a VR-4, so it is a bit special. Ohh and I owned one
If I'm replying to your thread and helping you out, it is because I like you and want to help out your VR-4 ownership. No other reason
Stealth tailgate??
Is that one of those ones that are there but is`nt & when you is driving it creeps up on you & makes you jump?
What about load covers, are these classed as accessories or were they factory options too? Did they come in different colours?
why fix it the right way first time - when excessive swearing can occour when it all goes wrong when you don't?
Now with 5.7 liters of V8 muscle
All Legnums should come with load covers
Gareth I believe the lack of them is quite often related to them disappearing between Japan and the destination port.....

Jase, it pokes up in the air so you can see where the corner of the car is when parking...I'll keep my mouth shut now
horndog, that is because yours is a late facelift from May 2000 onwards. So standard trim for that time was the grey dash and so on, hence no option codes, however it is a cold spec so it gets the 100 code
updated my post
Thanks to all so far, I believe I'm up to date at this point, but we still need lots more submissions, come on people!

Ok, I've given up trying to decipher the VIN database file from the ASA CD. I thought I was getting somewhere but then they chucked in some random data formats in the middle and blew me out the water. I've tried disassembling it (in fact I had to hack the anti debugger code!) it but my skills as at reverse engineering are a little lacking. Had hoped to determine what it was doing with the relevant files as it was running but I haven't a clue how to find the variables LOL
If I could just work out the database format we'd be in business, either that or I need a way to copy the database the mitsubishi.epc-dat.ru website has. Back to the manual way of doing it I think.
Can we get rid of hi vis dash, cruise control, parking sensors and gearshift surround? No VR-4's left factory with cruise or parking sensors and while some did or didn't have the hi vis dash, and same with the black or metal gear surround, it was never an option, either the spec of car you were buying would have it, or would not have it.
Also what is 'lower dashboard trim'? Is this the part that change to tan on tan leather cars? If so there is no need to list that either as all VR-4's had the same black plastic there unless they had tan leather, so it isn't an option by itself.
I've emailed the site owner regardless politely asking for all the data
