I will be putting new tyres on my other alloys very soon & have been looking round to see what's out there.
Just wandered if anyone has fitted Avon ZZ3's & if so what are your thoughts?

The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space

IIRC, Avon performance tyres tend to have fantastic dry grip, average wet grip, high wear rate.

Ive just put a pair of these on the front of the Saab, repleacing worn out Vredesteins (which apear to have gotten really expensive from last time I bought them)
I dont really push the Saab, so cant comment on handling, but they are quieter and ride OK, I paid £155 for 2 fitted IIRC, done about 150 miles so far
I've had them on the VR4 before, but didn't like them at all and took them off
I had them on a UK V6. I didn't like them at all. I bought a VR4 that had ZZ1's on and I didn't like those either. In both situations I felt the grip was poor, especially in the wet. I haven't bought Avons since!
Never used them personally but that's because I've never seen a good all-round review on them. Most say the same as Nev.
I would recommend the Eagle F1 Assyms from Camskill in a heartbeat, mine lasted 20K miles and had more to go were it not for me forgetting to rotate them and bad front tracking. They too appear to have gone up recently, just as I'm about to buy 8 of them!
