97 Galant - Over it

Hi All,

Some of you may have been following my recent repair on the gearbox of my Galant.
New box went in and the test drives were very successfull.

Upon checking out a leak from the driveshaft/xfer case this weekend I noticed that it has been broken into through the passenger side lock and a very pitiful attempt at the ignition.

Im essentially just over it - I am wanting $3K

The engine in this is smooth and strong. The body is nice and straight.

128,000 KM
Tiptronic
A slightly recond box from Kennith.
Very tidy interior - Bar some plastic shrouding broken off around the ignition.
No audio equipment
Paint fade on the bonnet and the spoiler.
The plastic shrouding on the passenger side front door handle is a crack in it now.
Adrenalin RE001 tires that still have a bit of tread.
Engine oil has been Castrol Edge 0w30
Box is filled with crisp clean SPIII Mitsi fluid

Have driven the car for about 80km after the new box went in and it changes gear very very well. Nice and snappy!

Passenger Lock still works fine - ignition doesn't spring back when turning on.
Warrant is due end of April.

I probably have a spare ignition shroud which you can have. I think I have some door handles too, but they wont be in black.

The issue I have is getting it all sorted it will still be parked on the road and driven not more than 100km a month- this is the second break in iv had here on it in less than 6 months.

My diamante got smashed into today, so if it's written off I will be keen. Also keen to buy the ignition barrel and handles. Will let you know early next week.

We are now going way off topic, but the 30M makes 200kw, no NZ or AU Magna/380 engine made over 180kw, whether 3.5 or 3.8L

Mt Eden is a shyte area for it, I used to live there - had my previous car broken into and then later stolen. I often see broken glass on the side of the road after a weekend where people's cars have been broken into.

One would have thought that the police would have stepped up extra patrols in that area because i am pretty sure that there is a syndicate working that area. I saw my stolen interior on trademe and somehow someone also managed to come into my rear strut brace which I am still wondering about too...

pffffffffff look whos talking, bite your knuckles and think what you said!!! im not the tart wanting 450 for a set of d-teck covers that i can get shipped aswell for les than 450 ok.. he said offers and has replied saying a little more than that so thats cool,i accept his decision and respect that.
