Brand new 120A Cold Spec Alternator

Hi all,

I have for sale one brand new alternator, part number MD340951 (the auto cold-spec 120A one), this will fit all 1997-2003 Galant / Legnum VR-4s and may possibly even fit N/A V6's.

Typically warm-spec VR-4s have a 80A alternator, manual cold-spec VR-4s had a 100A alternator and the auto cold-spec had the 120A alternator.

This would be an ideal upgrade if you've got a warm-spec car and plan on uprating your ICE (extra 40A / 500 Watts of power at your fingertips!), or if you keep getting flat batteries because you run your car short journeys only.

This cost £234 new from Nippon Distribution 3 months ago and it's been kept inside the house, it was bought pre-emptively incase my alternator had popped it's clogs (turns out it was the crappy Jap battery instead).

As it's brand new, I'm looking for £150 (or nearest offer) or a swap for a 7202/3 ECU

It's quite heavy so I'd highly recommend collection (B1 3AP weekdays, B31 evenings and weekends), I can deliver at £1 a mile or drop it around Nick Manns or VR4Drifta's if you're getting work done at either of theirs.

FYI, you'll need to move the pulley from your old alternator across, this should only be a 2 minute job.
