    MBC boosting too much

OK, I brought a MBC from Scarles the other week and have read the tutorial thread, etc.
It is all installed but when testing I was hitting 22 PSI so backed off (FYI Boost Gauge is plummed into the pipe behind the intake, was at 7 PSI before).

I have made sure the Boost Controller was turned right down but getting the above result.
So thought maybe they marked the +/- incorrectly, so turned the other way, so the twist "tap" goes up, same result.

All I can think of is maybe the T has the arrows the wrong way? am going to try turning this around now but just looking for posibilities.
If I can't sort it when I go to the car now I will remove it for now...

Cheers in advance for any help/suggestions given.

P.S. I did search but I couldn't see anything like this (except for possible hose leaks)

From the red tipped pipe on the intake, plumb the T in there before the other one, and have the arrow pointing towards the standard t join.

From there, the tail bit of the T goes to the boost tap.

Yea, have put the T in with the arrow pointing away from elbow in the line on the red tipped one, then top of T (tail) going to boost tap.
(T = Horizontal going from intake then connect back up to original route, Vertical is then going to the boost tap, then vents to air.
Think the T might be stuffed, I can close/open the tap, tested by sucking/blowing on the pipes.
T has a ball and spring in it, but and only blow/suck from 2 out of 3 ends, one just stays closed.
Not sure if that is correct or not, pulled it apart and everything was separate (so not stuck).
    Might have to go visit

After some playing around I think I have found the issue, will need to test this out tomorrow now.
But it appears the boost tap screw may have been popping up from the pressure, hence giving me unlimited/overboost.
Taken it all apart and back together, hopefully all goes well tomorrow.
