    How did you find us?

Just wondered how you found the site? I found it after a google search when I was looking to buy a VR4.

Now we are handing out business cards and flying the flag at shows, how many stumbled accross this club in the real world rather than electronically?

I suppose I was "Word of mouth". A few of us were lurking over at the Galant Centre in the European Galant section. I think Japmetal, Scottish Ian and Ritch_W came over from there!

I had already purchased my VR4 as I'm a terrible impulse buyer... (I knew zilch about them)
About a week later, I had a little search on google for any details on my new toy, and up CVR4 sprung.
It was still early days back then, but I stuck with it cos I knew it was going to be a winner...

I chose Other because I got here through The Galant Center. I was looking for a Galant and found out there were 8g VR-4s and got all excited. I visit here a lot but never regged.. I'm usually just here to drool over the fancy cars... And hoping that maybe one guy wants to send their car to the US for me.

I put other too as I was lurking on the Lancer Register, being a fully paid up member there, when Pete and Barry suggested setting up a new site dedicated to our cars.

Ah, the first Japfest at CC, I remember it well. Did anyone ever do an article on it? I'm sure it would be a wonderful piece of history to add to the site.

Ditto We did a search the night we bought the car and found out all the horrible expensive bits - don't care though, best fun we have ever had with a car :-D

I was lingering over on the MLR EVO owners forum while there were talks about getting a club together.

    I'm a "google searcher" myself.

Had my V6 for 3 and half years which was spent lusting over a VR4. Finally got my finances together and did some searching on the net expecting virtually nothing to come back and to my immense pleasure I found CVR4 at the top of my first search.

I never actually needed another search and spent about a week devouring the site before I bought mine. :-b

I was there at the beginning too, when Barry created the club following interest from the MLR forum. Big trees from little acorns ...

It was bigdaveakers that pointed me over here after I stumbled across the car by total accident at the lancer register.

I was looking for something more comfortable to lug me and my minimoto gear round in for next season that also needed to go like stink.

    Job done!.

Its Helens fault! I used to have an MR2 Turbo and she told me I had to get rid as it was too fast. She suggested a practical family car like an estate. So my mission was to find a supercar crunching estate car..........the rest as they say is history!
