    Forum Hiccups?

It seems that both my PC's, tower system and laptop, are struggling to load in pages from CVR4 at the moment. Tower system running Vista 64, laptop Windows 7, both running IE9.

The laptop sticks up a notice at the bottom regularly to say that clubvr4.com has stopped responding and click to reload the page. Most often this works, but occaisonally I get a IE error page.

Mostly, the page looks like it has loaded, but I can't always scroll downwards and when the issue occurs I can't click links or clicking the links results in nothing happening.

Is anyone else getting this? It only seems to be an issue with cvr4.

Have you recently installed IE9. When i updated to IE9 (about a week ago), it ran like a pig, so much so I tried to downgrade it.
Now on Chrome and its much better

I have now removed the chatroom boxes from the bottom of the page and the problem has completely disappeared.

Okay, this is the second thread that I've mentioned that I had at least 1 x PM pending and still haven't heard anything as to why, if it will ever turn up... or anything.

Nope your right the mods don;t care - not really true as your well aware

Waiting for Barry to confirm but I suspect that unlike email there is no auto re-send when a person mail box is full so you would be best asking the sender to resend

I genuinely have no idea about the issue. Sounds back end (oo er) and I'm a bit dangerous near big red buttons (oo er!) as it is!

Barry's been a bit busy, but I'm sure he'll get on to having a look.

Ryan - just to let you know I did report this and there is a thread in the committee area about it (obviously this is an issue I can't deal with!). So it's not as though we haven't done anything, we are now just waiting for the people/person who can deal with it. As said Barry has been busy but will get to it as soon as

I think that's because garages are a members privilege Ryan.

I just started having the hiccup issue again and noticed that the chat boxes were there again. Then I realised I was using a different log on so I hadn't disabled it yet! Now disabled and all good again.
