I could not make today - sump baffle not fitted AND now committed to a trackday abroad in July.

This means avoiding all other expenditure as need to sort a transporter - long considering this option but this booking pushed decision

So if anyone wants to attend in July get in touch - you can book day but if you want to you bring your own car and passenger with me - some payment required by the organisers

If space in transporter you can just come along - may have to bring own chair or cushions for the floor of the transporter...

Nurburgring??😁 Need to get my car out there. Just need cambelt, wheel bearing and abs ring then hoping to get over there for a few laps myself.

How did the day go then chaps? Any one know if there is another of these this year?

Weather was great, a bit windy but that not bother me much, after 30 laps ive got a huge pains in my neck and hands today, car did wery well, not busted pipes or colling issues temp keep steady from start to finish, tyres not look so healthy any more, looking forward for next one which will be 20th this month

nice video,
adam you need to use all the track\kirb on the outside of the track (closest to the camera) it will give you a much better line through the next corner. you can be on almost full throttle at the point closests to the camers and the next corner flow wide out to the edge of the track.
you can rely on the coloured cubs being the point where you should use to apex the corner on the inside and outside of the track. it will be much more fun.

looks like a great day, if i had not had so much to do to keep things remotely tidy in my house and of couse keep vicky happy. she really does let me get away with massive amounts of stuff. she even came out side with a cup of tea saying i thought you were going to 3 sisters today, why don't you leave that and go. which i wanted to do but but the house and garden was covered in car parts as i was in the middle of a massive clear out and reorganising of all my spares. you can imagine how long that would take.
i could not just leave everything in a worse mess than where i started.
as it is i can close the door in the back bedroom now and actually get to most things in the room. the engine crane and engine on a stand are in the shed and i have about 3 feet square to work in in a 8x10 shed, and the other 8x10 shed is viewing room only, if i want to get in stuff has to come out.
and the only reason i was able to do this was getting rid of a lot of stuff, namely 12 PFL front hub carriers, plus an evo 8 rear hub carrier, why i had 12 i do not know, i don't even remember where they came from, i still have 2 as i need to see if the previous owner wants the back before i get rid of the those as well. so 14 hub carriers (with bad arms/ball joints very loose and wabbly), hubs, drive shafts, etc still attached takes up quite a lot of room and i still don't have any.
anyway i got a lot done but i would have rather been at the 3 sisters with you guys.
but i do have some good husband points to play with now and that makes for a happy house.

plus my car has not really been tested yet after the open heart surgery it had a couple of weeks ago, which remindes me i must post a thread and expain what happened. An interesting tail, one of club support and help which was above and beyond the relms of what you could possibly think. but that is another story.

Looks good. Really need to get my car round a track. Stumbled across a javelin trackday about 15 miles away from my house while out for a drive the other Sunday. It was at Blyton raceway and it was a Toyota Sprint event, but they had a session open for other cars too. T'was a perfect Sunday morning😄 Unfortunately track time had to be pre booked. But I was told there is another coming up later in the year. 😎And I even saw a black leggie there too.

3 sisters organise drift day for novices this coming Sunday and it seems to be good fun day out watching first time drifters cock up, looks like we'll be there (me and gib) may @Davezj and @mcosworth too??
