    Confused

my clutch has started slipping recently, i have read through most posts relating to clutches and the general consensus is, to fit a evo clutch and flywheel as a upgrade from stock.

this is the route i would like to go down but am confused on what i actually need to buy, for example can i use a evo 8 clutch with a evo 6 flwheel or do both parts need to be from the same evo model.

and what type do i actually need ie pull type, push type.paddle.

    any help is much appreciated.

evo 7-9 clutch kit there 240mm pull type, (evo 4-6 is smaller so no good for us)
and you need to use the flywheel spacer kit sold on these forums to use the full Evo 7-9 Flywheel and Clutch kit.

or you can bolt the evo 7-9 clutch kit (no flywheel or spacer kit needed) to the vr4 flywheel,
thou some have reported clearance issues do this... i have done this and not had a problem

or you buy the exedy mbk-7223hd/hdb/hdcb... different styles of the same kit
which is the uprated direct replacement for the vr4, using the stock flywheel
hd=heavy duty (full face organic disc)
hdb=heavy duty button (puk style disc)
hdcb=heavy duty cushion button (some where between the above 2)

where can i get these the spacers from, and do i need any other bits for example do i need the evo flywheel bolts or can i use the vr4 bolts.
whilst the clutch is out is there anything else that i might as well change whilst the gearbox is out.

Have you tried your local dealer?
when Ive bought a few bits and enquired about prices for non-service items (wheel bearings, lower arms, hub carrier) I found the prices to be very similar to camskill or the other online places

i was looking at the f1 racing stage 2 clutch and flywheel, looks like the have some good reviews and are very similar to the ones above.
has anyone got the f1 racing clutch or fly fitted to their cars.
