Might be interested in buying it. Just thought I'd see if anyone recognise it?

Never heard of them , but did see this on Ebay a few weeks ago
would say it is on the high side price wise but seems a legit car
I'm sure if you asked nicely someone more local would go and have a look at it for you
Hey just spotted that looks like it has MMSC on a facelift , which I have never seen before

I'll be damned! Didn't notice the the MMSC to be honest. Should the frame around the display really be silver?
Yeah I agree it's a bit pricey. 2000miles less and I'd be prepared to pay that amount. What interested me was that it looks to be i good condition from the pictures. Has a few mods done but noting significant like fuel pumps and EBC. Might be a good project to hand over to Eurospec for some mapping on the rolling road =)
I have a 1999 Trigger Mauve Type-V myself but it feels like it's about to fall apart mechanically (Gearbox, AC compressor, servo pump to mention a few things that have started to act up just the last two months) and I'd rather find something fresh and move the good parts over from the Type-V.
If anyone lives close I'd really appreciate if he/she could pop by and check the car over. There is no mention about an AYC and that's a must have. That part can of course easily be checked by a phone call of course.
What puts me off a bit is that the Recaros look even more bleached and worn then the ones in mine that have done well over 100000miles now.
I don't think that is MMCS TBH?
EDIT/; WOW MMCS........

The silver bit in the middle does not look like MMSC , but the console on the right of it does look like the MMSC control pannel
Feck me your god damn right there John.
I usually am right -
MMCS was indeed available on the facelift, and it was widescreen!
That one looks pretty tidy. Hardpipe kit, upgrade intercooler, Brembos. I dare say that digging a little deeper could find a few more hidden gems!

Why not become a full member of CVR4 and enjoy the additional benefits membership brings?! Information here.
Fired of an email to the company asking for more info.
well also spotted it has an alley rad and what look like hid balast packs in the pic of the engine bay
it also has an fpr fitted - look by the resister pack behind the TB - you will see a hose going into what looks like a ebay style FPR
The turbo pipes look wrong, as in possibly the wrong position, is it poss that this has different turbos?, why else would the front pipe be cut and joined and angled?, and the pipework for the rear turbo looks higher up?, interesting.
Updating Soon!! 1998 Legnum VR4, fully serviced every 4500 miles. Fully Amsoil'd. Falken 453's, EVO 8 FQ320 rear diff.
Yeah did spot that as well louis but I assume they are still stock tubs , it does also have an uprated intercooler
Being honest here this car is far from stock and the mods you can see would suggest it has been thrashed a little (nowt wrong with that )
THe guy says it's been his for a year, so he would know if turbos were changed unless he got it the way it is set up with all the mods already done, nice upgrades. The pipework, the blow off, the maf, the airfilter move etc, FPR, big intercooler, all points to quite a bit being done to it!.
Also, am I right in saying that the Super interior, would also be an upgrade, the facelift didn't have this option did it?
I looked at the garage add, sounds like he knows the cars, so must be standard tubs!, nice mods.

I keep looking at this & it does look familiar? I might take a looksee through some old details I've got somewhere?
Thanks Steve!
Louis, As I read it he claims that the car is stock beside the pipework and coolers. The Recaro seats is most likely stock. I have the same colour Recaros in mine. Dunno bout the steering wheel though. The handbrake lever is not red so the steering wheel might be replaced for a super one?
What worries me a bit is that there is 5 photos of the front of the car but none from the rear...... Could be hiding something or just ignorance
well who ever bought rhys custom pipe work years ago fiteed it to this car,
same joiners and bov (just not as shinny now

If you copy and paste the garage name into your browser you get to the actual site, where there are more photos, and the rear is there!.
Where was Rhys from?. Same pipework or copied from images of Rhys?.
(I wasn't sure if the facelifts had recaros, is it UK VR4's, ralliart ones that had this?)
The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space

Pics of the back of the car here http://www.greenwingmotors.co.uk/mit...eshire-1758347
Thanks guys I found them too. Missed the link to them at Pistonheads. Will be interesting to see why they think the car is worth 6k. Newera had a manual facelift in excellent condition for £6200 earlier this year and afaik the prices have gone down rather then up lately.
