Cheers Barry, I think i may have solved the issue....my picture quality is too high...or takes up too much space so will have to resize all of them to be able to upload any.

    The box in the making

Ok so i now have the pics uploaded and sorted can now get on with the build....

So this has been 3 years in the making (which is why some of the products might seem to be out dated by some) and last year I finally made a start and it started off like this.

I stripped the boot of all the ugly interior I had in it, took pictures of this process but phone was stolen and hadn't saved them to my laptop yet.

Measured up where everything would go, calculated how much of the boot would be taken up by the sub enclosure and how much of the floor would be used and if i would be having any need of the spare wheel.

So me and my brother decided that an angled enclosure would be good as it would show off the subs and grills, but you can tell me what you guys think of the design.

That is a massive build! (and leaves little bootspace). Always interested how good it's going to sound (being on exactly the other side of the world probably won't help with actually doing that ).

when I started out I did not realise how long it would take to get through it all as for the boot space i dont have any need for it at this stage so why not fill it with some goodies...and for the spare wheel putting 1 biscuit on and 3 19s on the other 3 corners is not really good for the car so that too was not needed....as for the sound...I will record for you and hopefully the quality stays the same as is in person....will keep you posted

Thanks Darren, i dont quite have the skill for building as you though, your boot build is what inspired me to get off my ass and get a move on with it....as for the summers all year round....we probably do have more sun then you guys but during my 2 week xmas holiday we had a total of 5 days of sun which didnt help the build out one bit...and more pics to come of the process and I will definitely be sound proofing the boot....as i only had the 6.5 inch subs hooked up and the boot rattled along with the parcel tray...so chucking 12s in would probably sound like ridiculous...more rattle then boom

    prepping and painting

Update: So we had some more sun enough to paint up the box top and bottom, 2 coats matt black and 3 coats gloss...alot shinier in person
the box support piece to be screwed to the amp rack and box for stability....the boot floor (fireplace looking pic) black edges to match the sub amp rack hopefully have a pic of the floor and and amp rack to show the purpose here.

drop down and floor come together

had to see if amp would be too high for the rack....as i did not account for the spider on the amp....possibly 5mm off....(10mm clear perspex for cover) will have to change the width to compensate...luckily for me my brothers mate runs a perspex business which saves me heaps...more perspex to come

    Hi Aaron,
if you require that little bit of extra clean/punch from the subs. I found a good additive is sound proofing the inner skin of the sub box, to give an almost perfect air tight seal. Downside is, it'll be a bit heavier
