Hey guys,
formanth on Ozvr4.com suggested me to here so I thought id have a little look through and join up myself

So im from Brisbane, Australia and I drive a 96 Galant VR4 and have become a pretty big 8g enthusiest and find myself constantly researching new things I can do to make it even better...

A little info on my galant, well shes basicly standered with a turbosmart boost 'T' set to 12psi and a cannon muffler (just for noise and better flow) but I do have huge plans thats for sure! done about 125,000km's, TipTronic auto which has just recently been rebuilt, unfortunatly im still having issues with it .

Future plans -
*Well in about 2 weeks a mate and I will be installing a new front mount and custom steel piping to replace to soft ones and install a transmission cooler aswell. If we have time and materials we will also be making custom front pipes and complete the rest of the exhaust at a later date.
*Lowered sprigs 35mm
*complete sound system
*Led interior light conversion
*HID headlights
*Black indicators
*Altezza tail lights
*Super wing
*Aftermarked front bumper (still looking for one I like)
*Brake upgrade
*18x9+35 mags
*ECU flash
*TCU flash if anyone can master it
*Carbon partern upgrade from woodgrain
*Steering wheen upgrade with cruise control and radio control buttons on wheel
*Aftermarket cruise control kit
*and there are a few others always many more adding to my list

Hey guys I'm back again!!! Been a while but I'll be sticking around for a while to pick the brains of the gurus of the VR4 communities as I'm about to embark on a large performance upgrade to my Galant..... But first here is how she sits today...







and these are my plans to do to her...
-Facelift hub carriers and ABS sensors
-Brembo Brakes
-S-AYC diff
-Evo 5speed manual Gearbox
-Evo transfer case
-NPC clutch
-Lightweight Flywheel
-Full engine rebuild
-Forged internals
-Heads ported
-reground cams
-valve springs
-hyd lifters etc...
-Pair TD04-13's
-Custom duel inlet pipes
-Custom front pipes
-MAP sensor

-1000ID injectors
-Retune by TME (road trip down to Sydney for run in)
Prob be a few more things but that's a basic list I'm looking into doing and luckily I'm a Diesel Mechanic so I have access to a workshop and the ability to do most the work myself. I'm basically after around 450AWHP/330AWKW on a good tune without pushing her to far.

I'm really hoping the guys running those sort of numbers can help me out in using the correct parts so I can do the job right the first time, don't wanna break anything

-Full custom intercooler and inlet pipes
-Custom shortened Plenum
-Custom front pipes
-TME tune hoping for about 320awhp/235awkw safe tune with stock internals

Can anyone give me some guidance on the custom plenum? haven't found any information on it yet, only some pictures has anyone tried making one?
