Hi guys is there anyone on the forum, who has the proper Amsoil ATF for me to change the oil in my gearbox for my Type S VR4? I can send money via paypal.

Just wondering - I read that we need 10 litres of oil to do a proper oil change and it needs to be flushed out to get all the oil out. Would I need two bottles of amsoil then? Are they sold in 5 litre bottles?

Yep that's the one you want. I would get two 5L containers & a couple of the 946ml bottles.

Right thanks mate, I just got two 5 litre bottles (£110.48 and that is including the £20 CVR4 discount which is nice), need to watch my spending a little bit, have quite a few direct debits going out so, might get a bit more oil next week, and do the oil change a few days before Modified Nationals. Thanks for that again mate.

If you are going to do this yourself there is an article in the members section with a full description of the procedure. Here is the link http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthr...-change-(VR-4) If you are going to get a garage/mechanic to do it print it out and make sure they follow it to the letter. Many mechanics haven't got a clue and merely drop the sump oil and refill so a few miles down the road you have 50% new and 50% old so all you have done is waste a whole load of money. If you can, stand and watch them.

Yes Dave that is why I am going to wait until next week and get the other two litres and John I am going to do it myself and follow the guide to the letter. Thanks for that guys.
