Forum Upgrade to 4.2

Hi all,

In my quest to get the iphone app working with the forum i have been advised to upgrade to the latest version of Vbulletin, primarily because the latest iphone app only works on that version

I will be upgrading the test site today, look for issues and plan upgrading the main site shortly after.

K, upgraded - cant see any major issues, few cosmetic things need addressing - nothing major.

Key features.

1. Works with latest iphone app version.
2. integration with forumrunner
3. Activity page - much like live posts but much better and part of vbulletin.
4. Notifications on rep
5. More rep info in user control panel
6. More rep info in profile.
7. Who has read a thread

Will think of when to upgrade and post a thread.

There is, it will become available at some point - its just i have iphone so easier to test - once i have it working ill work on the android app.

I'm getting the standard VB favicon using Firefox. Not tried IE, but this had also been happening for a little while, couple of weeks or so.

Just to add to that @elnevio and @BraindG, favicons generally get cached a lot more aggressively by the browser than any other page, doubly so if you have it bookmarked. You'll have to do a full browser cache clear to get rid of it before testing to see if there's a new one available

I just tested it (www.clubvr4.com/favicon.ico) with a browser that doesn't keep a cache (use it for development), it is indeed showing the correct Mitsubishi Diamonds at the moment.
