Fuel hose as coolant hose or oil/ATF hose

I had a coolant leak from the 12" pipe that goes to the rear turbo coolant feed around the side of the engine. To get to it, the snorkel, airbox, MAF, weird Y-pipe and soft intercooler pipe all needed removing.

The pipe itself is uncomplicated, with an ID of about 9-10mm.

I purchased a length of fuel hose, with an ID of 10mm, and to be honest, the OD looks the same as the old hose. I cut the required piece to length, used some nice fuel hose clips rather than jubilee clips or Mitis spring clips and job done (well, once everything was reassembled, anyway...).

My question is, is it okay to use fuel hose for coolant, long-term? I am wondering if there is anything in the normal glycol coolant stuff that may mean it isn't suited. Is normal coolant hose made out of anything special?

I think it is fine. The hose looks very very similar, with reinforcement in the middle of the hose wall.

I am also thinking of replacing the ATF cooler hoses as well, which rather handily appear to be the same size hoses as this fuel hose. Any issues with using oil/ATF in this type of fuel hose?

Should be fine I would think - wouldn't fuel be tougher on the pipes than coolant?

I've been using fuel hose for my ATF piping where the loop is beside the rad - no issues for at least 6 months so far.
