VR40RG Numberplate, anyone recognise it?

Hi Guys and Girls,
Been looking at a VR4 today in New Zealand North Island which used to have a personalised plate "VR40RG" which had some Club VR4 mats in the car.

Does anyone know who's car this was and anything about it.

It feels like it has a performance clutch in it, any ideas?
