    I've been running Faulkins on mine for a while and they have not let me down yet (FK452).

    As for Yoko's, stay away from the prada's. @miller managed to destroy a set in 2 laps of the ring last year. 26 miles of spirited driving and large chunks were falling off.

    About time I reported back on the Vredesteins really. Now they've scrubbed in they're awesome so far. Great in some of the heavy downpours we've had. More importantly now it's warm really good in the dry Came out of the excitement of a meeting the other night to find that the wife had been sat on the doorstep for 2 hours. Spirited drive home, good fast twisty road with plenty dips and neg/pos camber and couldn't fault them. Found myself exceeding the normal 'max' for a corner by a afir bit and they weren't trying!! I've settled on 36 Fr/34Re at the moment which feels really nice.

    One set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 in 225/45R17 94 Y fitment ordered from Camskill. By far the best price I could get, at £371 including delivery.

    I am sending my wheels to Rimfurbish shortly, and they charge £36 removal and fitting for a set of four. So these will basically have cost me the equivalent of £408 by the time they're done. Couldn't beat that with Black Circles, My Tyres, eTyres, etc. Even Rimfurbish's trade price for the tyres was more than Camskill's!

    First item of good news, and it is that they are still made in Germany!

    Secondly, because I bought four Goodyear tyres with a Y speed rating, I can send off a copy of my receipt and a form to get a £40 Tesco fuel voucher sent back to me!

    So this has made this bargain even better!

    If this has piqued your interest, please note that this offer is only available on purchases until 30 June, with a deadline of getting the form in by 16 July.

    Selected T&Cs from the offer:

    The customer is entitle to receive a fuel voucher for £10, £20 or £40 (provided that the customer meets the quantity/type/speed rating purchase requirements for that amount as set out below):

    (a) one £20 fuel voucher when purchasing two Goodyear branded Summer tyres which are either from our RunOnFlat or 4x4/SUV range, or have a speed rating of W, Y or Z;

    (b) one £40 fuel voucher when purchasing four ... [as above] ...;

    (c) one £10 fuel voucher when purchasing two Goodyear branded Summer tyres which have a speed rating of H or V;

    (d) one £20 fuel voucher when purchasing four ... [as above] ...

    Offer appplies to Goodyear branded tyres only and excludes S & T speed rated tyres.

    Offer available from participating dealers only.

    Voucher redeemable only in Tesco's petrol stations ...

    etc. etc. ...

    They're still in the boot of the Swift!

    I tend to tinker, but I've generally settled on 37 psi all round.

    Providing they're all the same dia, fit the rims and have clearance, it don't matter to much.

    @ Elnevio. I've always run mine at 36fr and 32rear. Had them on for just over 2 yrs and the fronts are slightly more worn on the inner edge due to heavy braking and camber. Swapped front to rear before 10th anniversary. And before anybody asks, the front wheel alignment is bang on accurate, done with my mates home made/designed tracking gauge which cannot fail to be accurate!

    For those considering the Yoko Parada's....and the Evo is a lighter car

    15mins of Donngton did this, I then replaced the one tyre so I had four matching tyres for the next outing which was Nurburgring......two laps did the same!!!

    Has somebody ever had Nexen N800?
    I still have Falken 452 but they will have to be repalced soon, they feel great in dry and wet and felt very well on the track,
    unfortunately camskill doesn't do Falken 452 at the moment.

    I think Falken don't do 452 anymore, at least that's what Black Boots told me. They fitted 453 for me at £72 + VAT per corner.
