Coolant leak in front of radiator

    Hi Guys,

I have a had a coolant leak for a little while that only seems to dump coolant after engine shutoff, I thought it was the radiator drain plug and swapped this out but now it seems I was mistaken and
it was just the leak running down over the drain plug.

I took a pic through the front grill if you look closely you can see some leakage, this is not the radiator tho is it ? I a v6 with ac, is it the condensor that is in front of the radiator ? if so does the condensor have coolant running through it or could it be that it's the radiator behind that is leaking ? I will take another closer look tomo but any direction would be appreciated, I downloaded the workshop manual which shows the radiator detail but not this other unit that seems to be in front of the rad.

I can't make out the picture, but the air con rad should be what you are looking at there, the radiator is hidden from view by it. The pipe in front is the power steering cooler.

Cheers Nick yeah it's the condensor (ac radiator) it's definately coolant thats leaking out tho so does that mean it must be the main radiator thats leaking and not the ac rad (i.e the ac rad does not have antifreeze running through it ?)

The condensor seems a more difficult part to get hold of then the main part, can you only get them from mitsi ?

The ac rad definitely does not have antifreeze in it. But sometimes they gas the aircon system along with a green dye to show up leaks?

I am definately loosing coolant tho so I guess it must be the main rad or hoses behind, just dont wanna replace the rad and find out it was something else.
