Shares can go down as well as up....

    .... As we all know.

I'll shorten this saga as best I can... so I don't bore you.

My best mate Vinnie [ yes, I do have best mates.... we chat several times a day ! ] He's alway's been in to shares, hasn't got a days work in him LOL

He has shares in many companies.... mostly stagnant. but one of his investments has become very interesting.

It's an American pharmaceutical company which has developed a drug. [ heard that before LOL ] but this one looks very promising. Vin is in direct contact with the CEO of the company, & has suggested an option which helps both them & him. [ told you I would bore you ]

anyway... Vin bought the shares @ 2p. they were, several years ago £2.20. If things go as they are going...... rising steadily, the CEO expects them to peak between £3.50 & £5 !

Vin is not getting too excited yet, but has bought a few more shares.... just in case.

but the best bit for him is, for every 1p rise in the stock value Vin earns £10,000

In laymans terms..... he earned £15,000 whilst asleep last night !!

Shares are a bit like witch craft to me. I'd love to be knowledgable enough to play the markets and have a dabble but it's mostly gobble-degoock to me and i'm not patient enough to teach myself.

Buy the book, go online, & trade with pretend money. see how you get on.
That's how Vin started. but...... he was a lot more adventurous when it wasn't real money & did very well.

When it was his money, a lot more cautious. He did make over £250,000 at one stage, but with the crash many years ago, lost quite a bit.

I think I know the company you are on about. A couple of lads in my last post were into shares and bought a fair few at relatively low cost. The company then announced that it would be making an announcement (yup heard that right ) around christmas time. Share prices then went up and my mates both stood to make a pretty penny. They held on because of the announcement and though I havent spoke to them for a few months the last I heard they were making several £'s whilst they slept.

I had one of the lads try to explain to me as he was trying to get me into shares but I just didnt understand nor did I have the time to do the necessary research to get fammed up so left it.

Wish I could get my head round it though as really its easy money if your in the know.

Amerisur are potentially underpriced at the moment. Currently 40something pence a share, but valued at around £1. They are sitting on a lot of oil, apparently, and every time they drop a shaft they discover a bit more. The price is down because they currently can't ship all the oil they can extract, but a new pipeline coming on song soon should sort that. I obviously can't predict the future, but my mum dabbles with shares and tells me what she is up to sometimes. Your mate Vinnie is playing with bigger numbers than my mum though!

Derek, there is no point in giving us tips if you don't actually tell us what the tip is!

Never got for a beer...had my girls round, but spoke to him & he's thinking of taking a bit of 'loose change' out & treating himself to another car !

A car to him has a thing in the middle you have to move & press something on the floor to make it move forward ! apart from that.... clueless !

He has a 02 plate Volvo s 40 shed He's thinking another Volvo.... because he's used to them !! [idiot!!]

£20K is his budget if he decides to move on.

Waddya reckon for that budget for someone who doesn't know the front of a car from the rear? I was thinking Audi A7...8 ??

Pfft you can fall out with people very easily !!! not that Vin & me will LOL. just wish I had money to invest

Because his shares are on the rise, He advised his brother, Lud, to invest. [ he has a few bob spare] He did invest... eventually, but not as much as Vin suggested, & ended up buying a few more later, but at a higher price.

Lud had no plans on long term investement so flogged them. Only made over £20K in 2 weeks !!! bastid
