Stud holes. I don't know if you can get appropriate discs with 4studs.

i have had V6 brakes on a VR4 for a few days while i sourced EVO wheels for the brembo upgrade. is there a problem with drilling the discs to 4 stud? last year an engineering company drilled 4 to 5 stud for £20

I put VR4 brakes onto my PFL V6 I had, which included redrilling the brake discs to 4x114.3 - then drove it around for a year or so before selling the car, didn't have any issues with it in that time.

thanks Garry. was there much difference and is it as simple as swapping the calipers, discs (drilled to 4 stud) and pads?

Yeah, very simple - swap over carriers, calipers, new disks and pads, and then just bleed through as you'd need to if you'd replaced with standard stuff.

On my FL V6 sport i had Evo 4 calipers and disks front and rear with Carbotech front pads and Green stuff on the rear.
It was a winning conversion for me although i never got to benefit fully from the conversion as i sold the car Iit was however a straight swap.
Don't know if that is of any help to you...

arent the EVO 4 calipers the same as PFL VR4s which wont fit a 2000 V6 sport? thats why i needed the front hub carriers from my 2001 V6 to fit brembos to the VR4

The 2000 v6 sport should already have the right hub carriers.

The v6 calipers on my car had only 1 piston where as the evo 4 s have 2.

If am am right the VR$ is fitted with 276 disks where as some evos came with 276mm disks and some came with 294 mm disks.
I cant honestly remember for the life of me which i had on mine but they bolted straight up to mine.

Mine was a FL and they bolted straight up.
just make sure you use the v6 bolts on the rear calipers when bolting the up to the hub, i spent a while wondering why the back wheels kept nipping up when i did the wheel nuts up, turns out the evo bolts where about 3-4 mm longer and touch on the disk.

the V6 discs are 276mm but the PFL VR4 and EVO 4 are 294mm. on the front anyway, no idea about the size of any of the rear discs
