    Tuning help

    Hi all,

Currently im using the rom of kenneth version 1.03.

I have raised the launch control to 5500RPm and Anti-lag at 4800 RPM with timing retard of -2 and max-5. A/F of the anti-lag is set at 10.

My question is, which is the fuel map that works with the anti-lag ?
Because right now after lifting off the throttle after engaging the anti-lag, the car stalls. Seems that its getting to much fuel.

Hope someone can help me with this.

    Thanks.

i don't bother with the gimiks of kenneths rom the rest of it is great, plus i have an auto and they are all pretty pointless for the auto box. but for a manual box it could be useful.

but useing launch control screams turbo damage to me, as you are igniting the fuel/air and allowing it to burn outside of the combustion chanmber in the exhaust manifold and turbo. it just seams wrong. but launch control does sound good.

but back topic, i believe it is only the KSrom fuel and ingnition map that are used for any of the options you can switch on and off.

    Bye for Now!

you are adjusting the correct tables for the antilag.

    antilag start RPM

    antilag ignition retard

    antilag ignition retard limit

    antilag AFR

i am not sure if the values entered into these tables are the actuall values used or if they are added to the values in the main fuel and ignition maps. it might be a bit of both, the ignition values using the main map and the AFR being a fixed value. when you have activated the launch control.

kenneth will know the answer to this @Kenneth

it might be helpful if you tell him what setting you are using in what table so he can do a comparison.

I am still figuring stuff out.
    Last time I ran 13.77 @ 100 MPH with a 60ft of 1.98s.
This was without tuning and launch control set at 4000K.

I am currently preparing the car for this sunday street legal event.
The car is performing much better this time, but still having the stalling"bugging" issue when using the launch control. Seems the engine is getting to much fuel when in anti-lag mode.

    Tomorrow is another day...

go into setup bits on kenneth version 1.03,switch off the NLTS,antilag AFR control and the antilag timing control.........just leave the stationary RPM limit ENABLED,this will allow you to use the stationary RPM limit alone, the car will not bugg.
