As we discussed at the weekend, if you can let me know what type of connections you need on either end of the flexible pipes, and their lengths, I'll have a chat with the guy I know down in Colchester, and can get you a set made up. I know he has stainless braided hose, he can probably get coloured stuff too if you want?

I had the following made up:

Brake hose - Metric on the body, imperial on the caliper:

    Clutch hose:

And, for anyone doing TD04 conversions... some oil return pipes, using the original pipes to donate their ends:

Well, with Racefab adapters, it looks as if the Brembos are pushed out by about 6mm, as that is about as much pad I have hanging over the outside edge. Not hugely detrimental, but not ideal either. This is with the standard 320mm Evo Brembo disc. There are 330mm and even 332mm disc options. The 332mm ones would be an even better fit, but both are somewhat pricier than the standard 320mm discs. I am just trying to source some. Performance Friction (amazingly good brakes) do them at around £650. Per disc!

    I will continue my hunt!

Remember of course that this is all based on the fitment to the RVR... but it appears identical to how a PFL VR-4 sits in respect of the front braking system.

I have been doing a little thinking about this and I might have come up with different type of bracket that might work.

Yes, I think this will be necessary in order to use the 320mm discs. Given that you can get new discs for under £100 a pair, it's the only real way of making this a viable alternative to getting facelift hub carriers.
