thanks for th pics, it is a little different to my stuff.

i can't really tell from the pic as it is a bit fuzzy, but is there tape on the top and bottom of the sealling stip.
what orientation does it go in with respect to the arch extentions?

    Bye for Now!

Sorry about the pic Dave bit out of focus, will take some more and yes tape on both sides.

what orientation does it go in with respect to the arch extensions? Sorry Dave what are you asking, don't want answer and state the obvious ?

But the top side by my finger goes to the arch and the bottom side by my thumb goes against the body.

    Anything else let me know

Yes I see what you are saying about the orientation.
Not having either the seal strip or the arch extension in front of me, it is difficult to see what goes where, but now you have said it, it is obvious how it fits together.

Two of each left and right sides, can't see it make a difference which side but will fit them as marked.

I would say Satellite Silver, the Hamilton is brighter if that is the word to use, but they do sparkle in the sun which looks good

Some info from ASA regarding thesesidepadsextrainfo.png, and a machine translation:

Unification of over fender pad supply.

Please use under the following conditions: conditions of use. This product is supplied with long supply. Please cut it to the length of the actual product when using. (Display normal length in CAPS specific information column), hole on the side of this product for positioning for over fender is set for hole for posting. There is always a hole when cutting to the proper length. Please cut the side with the length matching from the side. It can not be installed if you cut the side that is too big for a mistake.

In my case (FL Legnum) it states L=940 / L=1245 silver (M)

A list of available colours from here:

Great information there - any idea how to work out which one would go with A71 Hamilton Silver as there are two Silvers listed - Silver (M) and Silver?

Use your VIN in ASA and it should show the correct ones for your car.

Most colours are out of production but you can order the standard Black ones. If these are out of production as well some other Mitsubishi's are using them as well in different Length. e.g. Montero.

I have some of these flare seals somewhere in my store of parts,i have white, silver, and black.
let me know if you want me to dig them out and post up some picture if you can get them elsewhere.
i can put them up against my car as it is silver and you can see the colour differences.
at the moment i am not sure where they are so i will have to go digging in the back bedroom which is no small task.

i am not sure at the moment i bought these seals a while back with the intention of fitting the fender flairs i have, to my car to ensure the fitment is perfect, then offer the seals as option to people that want them.
i am not sure where they are but i know i have them somewhere.
i will have look and see if i can locate them.
i know they are with the silver wheel rim protectors i have but does not really help as don't know where they are either. lol.

Hi Dave - yes I would definitely be up for getting some flare trim in Silver if you have some as the trim I have on the second hand ones I bought is pretty weathered...

Probably a really obvious question but is there an online version of the ASA?

I didn't know what it was so had to look it up - "Mitsubishi Asa is an electronic catalog, which contains a full set of descriptions of performance parts and accessories for cars Mitsubishi, a lot pictures and circuits in which an experienced user will be able to resolve all resulting problems and issues."

There are some online shops that uses ASA like drawings with the correct OEM partnumbers. Look at sites like Amayama and partsouq.

Great - thanks - so looking at the mitsubishi.epc-data.com diagram, there are actually 3 manufacturer part numbers that are for the 3 parts of the wheel arch (*with LH and RH sides to make a total of 6)

    WheelFlareParts.jpg

I guess from the original parts ordered, the Mitsubishi Dealer just ordered two of the 69562 part (part number Pad Fndr LH MR607734 and Pad Fnd RH MR607741 in the Silver M colour) and as that is longer than the combined lengths of the other two it could be cut to size

Looking at the arches I have here with original pads on them, the only difference I can see is that each separate part has a tiny alignment pin near the top of where the trim fits - I guess to help with fitting

    These are the links:

    61809

    62061

    and 69562

Now I just need to work out if I need 'Silver' or 'Silver(M)' to match my JDM Hamilton Silver and what the differences is in the year dated model numbers (guessing they are the same, just with updated order numbers so I should order the latest but would be good to know!)

    Thanks

    Hi Alex,
Did you look at post 18 ? These are the ones I got and fitted fine but can you say how much you are paying as I put £38 + vat but think I was being a lazy and it should have been £138 + vat .
    Thanks John
