Looks like an Ebony & Ivory import given the reg! No idea what the 1003 could refer to though.

And you have the lightest 8G VR-4 that money could buy from the factory, a manual facelift Galant VR-4 Type-V.

    Value...?

Depending on age, spec, mileage, condition, recently serviced and with service history - a few thousand or more if you are lucky

BUT only to the person who wants a VR-4, your car in that condition with that spec...

Or less than that depending on mkt conditions - no customers for your car...

In my understanding as a worker in mental health, AYC is hydraulic system on VR-4 and Evos to limit yaw when cornering...

The technical description should follow shortly from a techie person, or someone who takes an interest in the details of such a system...

^^ the AYC is active yaw control. It helps you crash at a much higher speed than non ayc ! ...... if you're on a race track of course :-) ....... not that i would know

    But I do...

However AYC is really useful for everyday driving, but some people, as with your car, prefer not to have such a hydraulic system involed/interfering in their control of the car...

I.E. you crash on a track day with your every movement and input co-ordinating the event...

It's more about what a buyer will pay for a fuel hungry 16 yr old car which has been discontinued in Jpn and was only officially sold in UK in small numbers and few Mitsi dealers and def few prospective owners know anything about them...

I cannot see your images from work but it sounds quite desirable - few of us buy to sell...

    It's frequently a long-term affair, literally...

Welcome to the forum. I can't help with the valuation of your car, best bet is to look at adverts on here and ebay for ones that have sold to get an indication. It's safe to say a low mileage clean factory manual car is worth more than others but Chris is right with regards to desirability. Out of curiosity what attracted you to the car and how much did you pay for it?

VR4 values are all over the place. Anything from 1k to 5k with the average being just over 2k. As Chris says, you need a buyer who believes that the car you are selling is in the perfect condition and specification to get a high price.
