    Evo & rs Axles

    Hey guys my inner cv joint is gone. I want to know if i can fit an evo 7 rs Axle on my Vr4. Any ideas

    The fitments are mostly the same but I don't know about lengths. I think the rs had a rear lsd so the inner shaft connection will be different to an ayc equipped car.

    There is some similarity between ayc and sayc rear diffs from Evo 7-9 and vr4, not sure about driveshafts, but I assume that lenghts may be different due to difference in rear knuckles etc, and body/chassis wideness. Evo 7-9 rs diff is different to ayc tho, IIRC different splines etc, and anyone who is after conversion ayc to rs/lsd diff needs to get also rs driveshafts due to difference.
    Ex: Galant VR4
    Running 268 HP ATW and 443 Nm torque at 0.9 bar
    Now: Lancer Evolution 8 FQ-300
    Running 325 HP ATW and 510 Nm torque at 1.6 bar

    Aiight thanks wanted to change out the entire axle cant get a VR4 axle anywhere. From the part numbers cant get it to. Had a evo 7 axle lying around wanted to know if it could work.

    If you after rear driveshafts from vr4 I may still have one from my vr4 laying somewhere in the loft. Let me know.
