    Manual Gearbox + most conversion parts

    Manual Transmission fits Mitsubishi VR4 '6A13 TT' (EC5W) and parts will fit any car with the 6A13 or EC5W series engine block - Trans code WM542

    I am looking at $600 for the box and all the parts I have and its all located in Wellington, New Zealand at present. I am happy to help have it shipped by mounting it all on a palette for you so long as you are happy to organize the freight yourself.

    This gearbox is a 4x4 box for those who don't know and mates with a transfer case.

    The gearbox has been stripped and reconditioned by the previous owner.

    The box will need oil as it comes empty so don't forget to fill it once its fitted.

    I will not separate out the parts as the price is good enough as it is. If you don't want the other parts don't use them.

    Part required to do a full conversion are:

    Manual Gearbox (included)

    Manual gearbox engine mount "passenger side" (included)
    Selector cables (included)
    Half shaft between xfr box and gearbox (missing)
    flywheel (included but needs machining)
    clutch, release bearing and cover plate - inc all bolts (needs replacing)
    Clutch and brake pedal (included)
    Clutch master and slave cylinder (included)
    Clutch pipe work (included)
    Reverse switch loom part for connection to auto loom (not included)
    Manual selector and gear stick + gear knob ( included but missing knob)
    and cover to convert auto lower panel (included)

    you would also need the spacer plate that sits between the bell housing and the engine as its slightly different between auto and manual.

    True I forgot about that but it is possible to modify the existing one also as many others have done. Its a bit of a bodgy way to go about it though

    I am going to Brisbane very soon and was thinking if I don't sell it in nz very soon I may take it with me as its easy to sell in Australia and worth much more than here.

    The W5M42 is the non turbo 4WD box, it is not as strong as the W5M51 fitted to a VR4 and will not support the fitment of a VR4 transfer case, just in case you were looking to buy this for a VR4.
