97 Galant rear subframe issue.

Hey all.

Im new to this forum. Just bought my partner a 97 VR4 Galant. It was very cheap and came with a few known (sort of) issues. The main one is that the 2 rear diff mounts that are moulded into the back of the rear subframe are destroyed. Im guessing a previous owner must have been a tryhard rally driver or something. After calling Mitsi I am needing a bit of info as the all the guy on the phone could give me is part numbers and not any sort of real advice. What Im trying to find out is whether a rear subframe out of a EC5w legnum of the same approx age will fit into my '97' EC5a Galant. Any help will be very much appreciated. Cheers

no need to change the entire subframe though just replace the bushes.
