Apexi AVC-R settings.

Anyone out there using an Apexi AVC-R Electronic Boost Controller ? I've just installed one after using a Turbo XS dual stage MBC, and was hoping to get rid of boost spikes. So far the unit seems to overshoot the target boost setting. In other words, when I set the boost at .80 kg/cm2 and I get on the gas it boosts to .97 kg/cm2 and then settles down to about .75 kg/cm2. So, I am not getting it to hold boost accurately + it overshoots ! And if you own one you will know there are so many adjustments that could be made. I'm just trying to get max boost without fuel cut. I hear you guys talking about boost controller at 14 psi or 1 bar, and I can't get that.
Help a brother !
The only modification to my car is K&N drop in filter.
If anyone has any suggestions on settings to use please let me know.

Ive got one ordered, but it will be about a month before its installed, tuned up and running.
