I'm not sure what the maximum speed of a stock 8th gen VR4 is - it is often quoted at between 150 and 160 mph. So I guess around 250 kmh. The car was for the Japanese market only, and is limited in the ecu to around 180 kmh, so I guess that's why the speedo doesn't go any higher. Removing the speed limiter can be done in a variety of ways if so required.

Installing a KPH to MPH converter will change the reading to MPH, therefore making your dials read 0-180mph, which is more than enough
Just mask out the letter 'k' on the dials and you have 'm/h'

Atik, they require km/h reading speedo in US
Stiward, I suggest just to remove speed limiter and then you should enjoy top speed 230 - 240 km/h. Just remember that these vehicles don't like long top speed runs.

    Now: Lancer Evolution 8 FQ-300
Running 325 HP ATW and 510 Nm torque at 1.6 bar
