Thank you guys! I'm not a pro mechanic for sure. I've done some basic work on my old starlet, even replaced all the suspension on my own on my driveway and do the usual service myself, however certain things I'm not confident with I would rather ask for a professional mechanic and indeed these are rare cars and I believe not many mechanics would have any experience with them!
Are the spare parts widely available? How much would be a set of standard suspension for example?
My Glanza was £550 to insure with Sky -) and it was modded with at least 20 mods, had to email them the mods -)))))))
Also how much is the professional LPG conversion these days? (I mean for the VR4). How long does it take to do a proper LPG conversion on average?

Milton Keynes, also I travel a lot due to my work -)
Are these figures - standard VR4 or a modified one?

Those figures look like a standard car that has been cared for. You don't get much better than that without modifying.
Well my glanza was about the same figures.... 14.5 sec 1/4 a mile with an Auto gearbox, standard engine, standard gearbox, standard turbo with a crack on the wastegate...
If I was to put TD04 on that little rocket, that would get 13 sec 1/4 mile...
Oh and it was pretty economical -) on average I was doing 250 miles per tank which is 37.5 litres, city driving "spirited" driving - I was getting about 180 miles per tank and the motorway only was about 370 miles per tank...

Oh and no rust at all, even though it was parked for almost a YEAR before I bought the car...
These pics were taken when I was replacing the exhaust (Hand made by Zisco, WITH a sport cat -) the exhaust is still for sale...)

So for me to hear that imports do rust is pretty hard to believe, but it looks like Mitsu was saving quite some cash on that...
