Mornin all. Hope everyone's keepin well.

Obviously not a newbie, but I thought I'd pop in say hello as I havn't been here for a while.

Bit sad what happened to my old Legnum, as it's now in the scrapyard in the sky.

Anyway, I recently bought a little project for myself and my Step-son as he is now studying a mechanics course at Eastbourne college.

I know many of you may not approve, but I thought I'd share anyway.

I could probably do with picking some of your brains actually. She's running a bit rough at present.

im sorry the enviroment is too important you cant use creosote!!! it has to be its replacement kreocote, the enviroment is very important to me and i wouldnt want to see anyone damaging the planet! next someone will come along and tell me car do more than 40mph and should only do 20mpg or less.

The mk1 was by far the best looking saxo but....

The 106 is a better looking car :-)

Agreed the 106 is marginally better looking.

I ended up with this as it was a cheap option. Also being small and relatively inexpensive to work on, it offered a good starting project for my step-son to learn a few basic maintenance jobs.

I have to admit though, I had one of these when i was a young driver and that particular car was absolute b@lls. Every time i put my foot down all the electrics inside the car shorted out.
