Anyone Got an Engine Crane I can Borrow?

Has anyone got an engine crane I could borrow at all? Im after one to remove the engine and gearbox from the purple vr4 and swap into the silver one. Not in a rush as I still need to find the time to do it but if anyone has got one would save me having to go out and buy one.

i have one that you can borrow but it is in manchester, it would cost quite a bit to ship it there and back. and more to transport it in a VR4. probably be much cheaper to hier on for a day or two. i think you can get them quite cheap.
but the offer is there if you need it.

Cheers for the replies guys, may take you up on the offer Nick at some point although it may actually turn out to be easier to buy one, definitely cheaper than hiring as it will be quite tight squeeze getting 2 engines removed and refitted during 1 weekend when the 2 cars are 150 miles apart and only myself doing it.

took me 3 days to remove my engine gearbox and transfer case, do a cam belt and all coolant hoses (every last one), remove and refit plenum, inlet manifold (with lpg conversion), exhaust manifold, turbos, etc, then refit it all back into the car.
this was on my own on the road outside my house, no rain cover, and it did rain.
Quite therapeutic once it is finished.

I have one you could you use but based in Doncaster. When i did the VR4 conversion i was in the same boat so coughed up and bought both an engine crane and engine stand .. new they only cost £150 for the pair off eBay. If you do decide to buy one you could rent it out afterwards to get some of the £££ back, about £10 per day.
