Well, I Know we have been through this before, many parts have been changed, but the problem is still here.
The problem is sudden running extremly lean, engine running roughly, the car kangerooing, ( even going down hill, foot not on throttle) unwilling to rev unless I bury my foot, that is fine (apart from my 2nd issue, which I think is spark blow out)
On cold start, the very 1st time you try to move, the revs keep dieing, then after a second or so, it's fine. Even then after a 25-30min drive it can appear.
On hot/warm start, even before moving, the afr is at 22.5 and the engine is not at all happy, sometimes after 10 or so mins, it seems fine again.
I have put in the oem 02 sensor, after just having the wideband (now both, but just the oem feeding the ecu, wideband is just monitoring on gauge only), standard engine temp sensor changed for brand new, new Walbo fuel pump, new fpr (ebay job), new knock sensor (diff issue, needed doing) got new plugs NGK I think without looking, 1 step colder), 3 new coil packs, new down pipe (old was leaking, though could be part of this issue),
I was told at last RR day, that the engine is healthy, it's the sensors around it. That was before changing the knock sensor.
I wonder if injectors, crappy fpr could be to blame? but why intermittent?
Trying not to, due to cost, A trip to @Eurospec again, they couldn't find the problem last time. Because it didn't do it while with them.
Hope to get the TB sensors checked while at RR day soon.
Any ideas?
Would be nice to get back to the 1 and only time leaving Area 52 2 years ago the car ran beautifully at 340bhp (just for the drive home ofcourse)
