    Exclamation Power steering pump FL

    I am looking for a power steering pump for FL. Already got one from PFL but wont fit. I can pick it up if it's not too far from cambridge.
    Thanks guys

    Here is an alternative option for you, I believe you just need the PFL bracket to go with the pump. You mount the pump on to the bracket and bolt the braket to the block (well the other way round really, bracket to block and pump to bracket). The holes in the engine block will be the same location for a facelift engine and pre facelift engine.

    Just ask the person you got the pump from if they have the bracket as well. They might do.

    I am pretty sure you just need the bracket but someone else will be along at some point to confirm or debunk this information.

    At least one of the hose fittings is wrong too.

    You don't need a pump from a VR4 - AFAIK the V6 engines use the same pump, so any facelift V6 pump should fit.

    @Nick Mann
    Am I right in thinking he could get the correct bracket and the pump would fit.

    Nick I already got a pump from a v6 galant FL and it's the same as PFL VR4. I will try to see if I can find one from VR4 FL if not I will just buy a kit to rebuild the pump. I will need to sort it by the end of month , I left my car abroad so I am going in november to bring it back to UK thanks Nick and Davezj. If you hear anyone with a pump let me know

    Oh, Dave, as far as I know changing the bracket allows the pump to fit but you must also change the hoses to the pump as well.
