Door to glass weather strip

Hi, Is the external weather strip at the bottom of the window for the front doors. Are they the same on the saloon as the estate ? Mine so don't clean anything off the window, which is fine in the summer ! Is there a repair for this problem ?

There was one hack posted here many years ago which I used very successfully. No idea if I could find it now thought.

Basically, get a strip of flexible washer fluid pipe and split cut into it along the length and wrap it over the weather strip. I did that on my first Legnum shortly after buying the car and never had any issues with them again.

But to answer your question, the weather strips are the same for the front doors between all 8G Galant/Legnum variations.
