Question Front LCA's replaced - steering wheel slightly off straight

    Hi Everyone,

Recently had my Front LCA's replaced and now when driving straight, my steering wheel is slightly off center.
I didn't have genuine Mitsubishi installed (yes, stupid) but have had genuine ones put in now. Is it just needing an alignment or is this something more serious?

Probably just alignment. The new ones will put stuff in different places, so get it to a place with a Hunter, and make sure they get it dead on front *and* back, not just "in the green".

whoever aligns it should center the steering wheel then clamp it in place. Alignment is then done from that point ensuring that the steering wheel is centered when going in a straight line.

ah i see. if you mean the bottom front straight suspension arms. do you know you have to get the correct arm on the correct side. there is a left one and a right one, (different parts numbers), but they are only very slightly different and you may not notice this if you are not paying attention.
i can't remember the exact difference i think it is to do with the centre shock bushing and how the little stub of the arm goes out to the ball joint on the end. it does not go straight it kinks off one way or the other depending if it is left or right arm.
    but i can't remeber exactly.
