Mystery Boxes

Afternoon.

I have discovered a pair of these mystery boxes zip-tied up behind the front fogs the white plug is unplugged on both. There is some other wiring I haven't traced yet from each one.

Presumably related to this; neither outer fog appears to work.

Any suggestions?

Does the other one have any better markings, where we can see the part number?

This might be for the turn lights which activate with the indicators?

no luck on the other one - tied well out of sight and ill need to jack car up to get at it to cut the zip ties

I have a facelift VR4 and I don't recall seeing those anywhere. Having said that my poor observation skills are over shadowed by my appalling memory!

Minor update:

the other box hasn't got any text left on it at all. I think they might be related to parking sensors at this point - no obvious way to hook them up, at all. After some pennies in the swear jar i discovered that the outer bulb on both sides is dead but definitely connected.

Anyone with a facelift (nick?) able to look under the front left for those boxes, if present it will be attached to a black bracket that runs behind the fogs and also has the horn attached high up above the fogs. If they are there, where do they hook up. if not then that is as interesting as anything else.

At some point I will try to do this. I am busy for a couple of weeks so if you don't hear back from me after that then please prod me!
