Galant V6

Hi everyone, just testing the water incase any of you guys are thinking of parting with your V6 anytime soon. Would be after one sub 100K miles and preferably black or trigger mauve. Cheers.

Looks pretty clean, check the gearbox has no whine, or a noise that goes away when you depress the clutch, properly inspect the fuel filler neck for rust, then the rear strut mounts for rust, real wheel arches for rust, fronts hardly go. Check the front inner wheel arch strut mount for rust, a good example is if you can see rust on the engine bay strut mounts.

Then the rest that goes with it just has to do with asking about its service history and the generic car buying points you look out for. Those are the main points I remember.

I appreciate the reply ☺ been a couple of years since I had my VR4 so always good to be reminded what to look out for when buying a Galant. I'd be amazed if there's a Galant out there that hasn't suffered rear arch rust at some point haha. Does look nice enough and my favourite colour, we'll see. Just hope that spoiler isn't too much of a pain to remove!

You might just be in luck. 2001 V6 estate silver. I bought it in 2002 then sold it to my father in law, he's had it ever since and is now thinking of selling. Am seeing him tomorrow so will check it out and let you have more details. Low mileage from memory
