    Soon to be VR4 owner.

'Ello! I'm Jord from West Midlands and C0xxy's brother.
Hopefully within the next 2 weeks I'll have a '97 Legnum VR4! And a nice brother that'll do family rates

I am after an Alternator if anyone is selling or has a site with them.

    Cheers!

    PM'd him 2 or 3 days ago.
Anyone know of any sites selling them other than Viamoto. Don't particularly want to pay £300. And the rest are out of stock.

Here's the one I got. Had it around a week and love it. Much better than my Saab 9-3 tid

Bought knowing the alternator is dead. Bought another off Gary/confused(I think?) Not yet changed but the dead one looks brand new.
No idea when the 4 aerials on the roof do. Or the one inside.
Body kit is naff and needs repainted. Plan to change the grill and front bumper, new alloys, coil overs and breaks. And then we'll see from there.

The roof ones were part of an option on the MMCS I think? Also useless in the UK if I remember right.
The wheels look like COTY alloys or facelift type V.
Have fun with the car and the mods!

Yup, it was me who you got the other alternator from - hopefully it'll do the job!

The body kit parts you have look like the Dolphin kit - you're just missing the front bumper, which is quite a rare kit! I'd be keeping it and tidying it up - it's one of the nicest kits for the VR4 in my opinion.

It looks like it is a COTY (Car Of The Year) being pearl white, black leather, and diamond-cut alloys.

Thank you! Charging it each night has started getting boring, haha.

Yeah I like the kit just needs a fair bit of tlc. Few cracks and lots of big paint chips. Whoever painted it hadn't a clue what they we're doing as it's really rough feeling like old fashioned ceiling paint lol. I'd like a dolphin bumper and the standard aggressive-y center part.

Was curious about that. Thought the COTY had a blue badge on the inside/outside which it hasn't.

Has anyone seen/know of this car? I bought it off a person selling on behalf of Mike Ahearn better known as Warrior from Gladiators from back in the day lol.

Don't fancy pulling them off after 21years. Plan to get roof rails which might disguise them.
    Thanks

The easy way to tell if it's a COTY is look it up by the chassis number... PM/WhatsApp it to me and I'll look It might just be that the badges have been removed.

Glad you're going to keep the bodykit! Will look even smarter when freshly painted and there's a front bumper to tie it all together!

And good shout on adding roof rails - they look so much better with (IMO) and it's also so much more practical!
